This video features Grant, who was born with short arms and four fingers on each hand. He was missing the radius bone in both arms, a condition known as radial club hand. His mother was told there was nothing that could be done. Fortunately, his family brought him to an expert in treating this condition, pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Shawn Standard at the International Center for Limb Lengthening at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics. Grant is living a life his family once thought would never be possible.
