Visitor Policies During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Please note that the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics’ clinics and offices are now open to all patients. Nothing is more important to us than your health and safety. No patients with coronavirus are being treated in our Schoeneman Building at Sinai Hospital.

To ensure maximum safety in all of our clinics and offices, we are preventing the spread of COVID-19 in our patient areas by:

  • Extensively cleaning exam rooms between patients,
  • Frequently disinfecting welcome areas,
  • Continuing to require staff, patients and visitors to wear masks, and
  • Screening both patients and staff on a daily basis.

LifeBridge Health hospital visitor policies are posted below, but please note that Sinai Hospital’s visitor guidelines for adult inpatients were made less restrictive than the policies below on June 14, 2022. For adult inpatients, please check with your care team for the most up-to-date policy for where you will be staying, as they can vary by hospital and unit. Please note there are separate policies for pediatric inpatients below.

Sinai pediatric patient policies were updated on June 15, 2022.

Please click here to read the special guidelines for pediatric patients at Sinai.

Please note that all visitors MUST wear a surgical-type mask. A mask will be provided if you do not have one. Please note that cloth masks are not allowed unless a surgical mask is worn over it.

These visitor guidelines are subject to change. Please contact your care team with any questions.
