Dwarfism is a condition of short stature, where adults reach a height of 4’10” or under due to a medical or genetic condition. Brittany is one of four patients featured in this video who sought out limb lengthening treatment at the International Center for Limb Lengthening at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics. Orthopedic surgeons Dr. John Herzenberg and Dr. Shawn Standard successfully treated these patients to help them gain the arm and leg length necessary to improve their quality of life and to achieve their goal of independence.
