Plastic Reconstructive and Microsurgery

The International Center for Limb Lengthening is unique, as it offers advanced plastic reconstructive and microsurgery treatment for its orthopedic patients. Microsurgery procedures are complex surgeries; skin, muscle, bone and blood vessels are taken from one part of the body to fill a defect in another body area. Soft tissue is moved to cover fractured bones and large wounds to prevent infection, save limbs, and restore function and physical appearance.  Dr. Bibbo specializes in routine and complex foot and leg nerve reconstruction.

Dr. Bibbo has eight years of specialty medical and surgical training in plastic reconstructive and microsurgery at the most advanced institutions in the United States, and over twenty years of experience in clinical treatment for patients from the United States and the international community. He is a leader in clinical research in the field, and brings his expertise to help patients throughout the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics.
